Ximena Rodríguez Juárez, born in the north of the country, lived all her life in Morelia. She has attended various workshops at Fotoviva in directing, scriptwriting and photography. She is currently studying her seventh semester at the National School of Cinematographic Arts (ENAC) specializing in Animation. Interested in the combination of genres and formats, “El perro negro”, her first short film, tries to tell a story through animation, interviews and images of her family's town.
