Tameika Dawkins, born in Charleston, was raised in Nea Makri, Greece, by her naval parents. Her family resided in the Greek fishing town for two terms, over seven years, until the communications tower's collapse led to the base's permanent closure. As an actress, Tameika spent time in Columbia, SC, with her grandfather, a retired Master Sergeant in the USA Air Force, mastering the art of country classics. Influenced in California by six uncles and an aunt, all of whom served in the Armed Forces and spent years across Europe to Istanbul, Turkey, it's surprising she didn't join the military like the rest of her family. Arriving in the United States at age eight, Tameika always had a unique view of the world. She realized her passion for acting and performing on film at her little brother's first birthday when her mother recorded the event. Her diverse cultural experiences and exposures have made her a delightful and lovable presence, much to the pleasure of her audience, in this instant Lifetime classic.
